TOTALLY ORIGINAL AND SUPER RARE 1970 VELO-SOLEX "MICRON"

£3,250.00

We were delighted to find this little gem on a recent trip, it has to be one of the quirkiest and fun mini bikes we have ever come across. Manufactured for only a few years with the first ones appearing in 1969 these aptly named “ Micron’s” were built in two forms including a road legal version with lights by French manufacturer “Velo-Solex” who are better know for their small petrol engine bicycle conversions.

Without doubt they look best in their purest form without the lights and in any event we doubt that anyone would relish the thought of riding a baby scooter like this with it’s 0.78hp engine on todays packed roads.

An ideal addition to any collection or just a great looking fun pit or paddock bike.

This one, we believe was manufactured in 1970 and is utterly amazing at it is totally original and un-restored condition.

Interestingly one of the later road legal versions has just sold in the US for $6,500 !
